Vogue Vision
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026
Vogue Vision is an AI styling app operated by OPEN CANVAS COLLECTIVE LLC. This policy explains what information is processed when you use Vogue Vision.
Information you provide
When you request or refine an outfit, Vogue Vision processes the occasion or styling request you enter, the person you choose to style for, the generated outfit brief, and any refinement request. The app sends this information through Google Firebase Cloud Functions to OpenAI so it can generate outfit descriptions and images.
Vogue Vision does not require an account. Please do not include sensitive personal information in a styling request.
Technical information used for service protection
The app creates a random, anonymous installation identifier on your device. Requests also include the network IP address available to the server. Vogue Vision uses the installation identifier and a truncated SHA-256 hash of the IP address only to enforce usage limits, prevent abuse, and control service costs.
Daily usage-counter records in Firebase are configured to expire eight days after creation. The random installation identifier is stored on your device and is removed when the app's local data is erased or the app is deleted.
Information stored on your device
Your styling preferences, generated looks, images, and Archive are stored locally on your device. You can remove looks from the app, clear local app data, or delete the app to remove that local information.
Service providers
Vogue Vision uses:
- Google Firebase and Google Cloud to receive app requests, protect the service, and run the generation workflow.
- OpenAI to generate outfit text and images. OpenAI may retain API data for up to 30 days for abuse and misuse monitoring unless a different retention arrangement applies.
These providers process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms. We do not sell personal information, use it for third-party advertising, or track you across apps and websites.
Analytics, advertising, and location
Vogue Vision does not use advertising SDKs or behavioral analytics and does not request precise location.
Retention and deletion
Styling requests and generated results are used to provide the requested feature. Vogue Vision does not intentionally store the prompt or generated result on its servers after returning the response. Service providers may retain request data as described above. Anonymous Firebase usage counters are configured to expire after eight days. On-device information remains until you remove it or delete the app.
Security
We use reasonable technical safeguards, including server-side API credentials and Firebase App Check, to protect the service. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Vogue Vision's features or data practices change. The updated date at the top of this page will show when the policy was revised.
